Description

We are The Traffic Lawyers®, a lawyer’s office, not a paralegal company, with a practice dedicated entirely to the defence of driving charges under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act. We defend serious driving offences in and around the GTA and the Kitchener-Waterloo Region, and we offer free consultations by telephone or by appointment.

Impaired driving defence in Toronto

We defend every criminal driving charge, including impaired driving by drug or alcohol (DUI, DWI), operating over 80 mg, refusing a breath sample (“refuse to blow”), drug-related driving offences, driving while disqualified, failing to remain and dangerous driving. We also handle appeals of criminal driving convictions and certain Highway Traffic Act convictions.

Why a driving-offence practice

The consequences of a driving conviction are always serious, and the cost of proper representation is generally small next to the costs you could face. No case is too big or too small: even for a charge in a distant Ontario court, we can arrange an independent agent in that region and monitor the case for you. No one can guarantee the outcome of a court case, and we never promise one.

Our practice areas

Our lawyers include

  • Ian J. Collins, LL.B., who articled with the Attorney General of Ontario and has conducted criminal prosecutions on contract for the Department of Justice
